What Can You Do?

While a lot of this seems like it's problems that are larger than a regular person can fight, there's a lot of actions that you can take in order to help Killer Whales.

Informed understanding

Just understanding and learning about the dangers to Killer Whales is a huge step to protecting them. Reading blogs and articles can help you understand what the problems are and how you may help in your daily life.

Reducing Personal Impacts

Decreasing the amount of waste and pollution you create can be a great way to slow down the amount of pollutants Killer Whales have to deal with. Use less plastic, use biodegradable chemicals and products, and recycle & compost whenever possible. A huge step is using a Seafood Watch card that many museums and organizations create to help buyers know which marine products are safe and which contribute to ecosystem degradation.

Get Involved

By joining organizations that seek to protect Killer Whales is a great step in their protection and saving. If you don't have time to volunteer, there's always the option of donating or even adopting an orca!
